True, shop it in and see. Never hurts if it doesn't look good you just delete it and tell us it was a waste of time haha

    Yay!!! lol No.

Side exhaust would just be silly. Besides do you really want to cut into your rockers and lower body just to get it to fit. Otherwise its just under the body scraping anything that runs in the middle of the car. Just all in all a bad idea IMO.

The sides look way too empty now
Does removing the spare count as weight reduction?

put some extra reverse lights back there like the vettes, im sure it would look ok after alot of work with fitment and body work and the right style of tips but unless your bored and can do the work or get it done cheaply it seems like a bad idea

Needs square exhaust IMO. I like the idea cause it's different.

Not as bad as I would've thought, but definitely needs the reverse lights grafted down there as well.

Here's my quick and dirty thought based on GRAFIX's..

I was also thinking of some fins on the sides for a rear diffuser look, but I don't have time to chop that.

Eh, what the hell. The more I stare at it the more I can see it working out. Go to a JY, buy a cheap rear bumper and start playing. I like the last idea best with more white, but I do think you would need to get the 4" duals, 3.5" would look too small. Gotta do it right, but don't get squared ones, they would really throw off the curves and lines on the rear.

Whats the worst that could happen, you mod the other bumper, paint it, pull the tips off your exhaust and fix these up in the middle and see how it looks, if it looks good then you customize the exhaust to work to the middle.

May even consider trying the SS Center tips if you like them... they is pricey but I think it might really set off the different look and be easier to work with as they whole setup is HUGE.

These are rough, but polished up or painted and they would look really clean against the white.

Most GP rockers are rusted, just shove it through! lol
It is a bad idea - spend the money on some mods that make sense

Maybe put 12 exhaust tips out back

    It's been done.

There is a local car here with one huge oval tip.

    It's gaudy looking.

Not to mention the restriction there with all the bends, unless you cut the spare tire recess out and flipped it over and welded it in upside down.

And to Nicks "Not to mention the restriction there with all the bends, unless you cut the spare tire recess out and flipped it over and welded it in upside down." 1 extra bend in the exhaust with the SS style tips wouldn't be much of a restriction, be truthful. 2 if you did the dual tips might but a higher flowing exhaust would eliminate the additional restriction from the piping so restriction wouldn't be a problem.

Its just what you want to spend the money on, its a gamble on looks but really comes down to you.

Dont do it. Doesnt look right on grand prixs. Stick with split, dual exhaust on the sides with ovals, trapezoids, or single/dual tips. Anything else looks ugly imo

Even better! Get Lexus LS460 tips & mold them into the GP bumper. I would definately subscribe to that project thread
