    i have a 99 GTP with an L67 in it i will eventually redo the gaskets in the top end of the motor but untill then whould it look bad if i just painted the front valve cover and not the back its not really noticeable but if you were at a car show and saw a car with just the one painted would you think the owner is dumb and lazy? just wanna know what you all think

    nah i dont think its that big of a deal, but if your doing show quality paint both but smooth the front thats what im planning on doing

    if you can get to the back might as well paint both, and just replace both VC gaskets while your at it. what color are you thinking? beside you really dont see the back VC unless your like staring at the engine

    It's highly visible if you've removed most emissions junk.

    You can't remove the rear valve cover, why?

    I didn't paint my rear cover. Painted the front, and unless you craned your head back there, you couldn't see it, Even with the EGR delete. So no, it's not tacky. Now, if you do end up removing the rear valve-cover, then yeah, go ahead and paint it to match. But trust me, you'll be fine with just painting the front until you can do the rear.

    It's not the S/C that's in the way, it's the Alt, MAP sensor/bracket, and Alt bracket.

    i plan to do the rear valve cover soon when i do the LIM but in the mean time i just want to do a quick job and eddie i will i just got wrap up a few more projects get all the pics together then itll be up there its not as an extensive build as yours but its been quite a journey

    Does your signature have a spectre drop in filter listed as a modification?

    Why not do your LIM NOWWWW and do both valve covers at the same time? I don't understand your logic...

    no my sig has been updated but it wont change!!!!!!! this new site is confusing lol ive done every maintenance thing you could do to a car besides the lim, i had to bring this car back from a neglected GP to a proud one lol im kinda at the point where i wanna enjoy the car before i start more big projects
