Ok my car was hit a few days ago and I was wondering if this looked like an expensive repair?

What do you guys think? Also my wheel has a slight vibration to it now as well. Smh. Also, I was unsure about the insurance process. Do they write me a check so I can shop around and find a cheaper price?

Well my dads car had a dented fender like that and a tire problem on his right side. Only difference was a cracked windshield and he had to pay his full deductible, apparently it was 3.5k at the body shop, paint, and buffing, and blending costs money too

a shop would probably charge like $1500 to do that IMO
i could fix it myself its not hit bad at all
if it were me id go get a written estimate from a shop that does high and expensive quality repairs get the money from the insurance company and fix it myself
but im not sure how insurance works in your state

That's what I was thinking Eddie. It's a few shops out here that do good work. So I was jut hoping I could get the check and then just shop around.

you should be able to do that, i had a few friends get written estimates real high and then take it to a shop that does good quality work for cheaper

Lol. I'll keep that in mind. My last car got In an accident and they totaled it. Didn't like the car anyways lol. It was a 2000 cougar, damage didn't look that bad but the work was more than half of the cars value so they totaled it.

insurance would def estimate it at 1k-1.5k. in reality, you could probably get it done for 500-700.
