For a new door it will never happen.. That door is more than repairable.

My car had a light fire under the hood, burnt the upper intake, front valve cover, misc other stuff, and all the associated engine harness in that area. Insurance said my car was a total loss and they cut me a check for $3,685 AND I got to keep the car.. :D Still trying to find a 99 GPGT engine harness though.. :( Last piece I need to put my car back together.

Got a shop to fix the damage for 400 bucks. Just got to provide the fender. eBay FTW lol.

Your getting ripped off, That sounds like a 200-300 $ job at a shop, I had the same thing as your car except mine was way worst and it was only 260$
