alright i got tinted taillights but i want them darker, i wanna do VHT nightshade on them ontop of the tint i alrdy have but thing is the tint on my tails are on the outside and not the inside, i know u gotta prep the taillights up with soap and water and different grids of sandpaper but i cant use the sandpaper cause it will/possibly scratch the tint, would i be able to skip the sandpaper process and it still look good? or is there another way? (im not removing the tint on my tails)

In order for it to bond correctly you need to use 2000 grit sandpaper. Wet method.

you have actual tint on your tails? the VHT paint might eat at the tint and may not stick very well. take the tint off and just VHT them to as dark as you want

You could clear them and then vht on the clear. You won't scratch the tint like that

you really should peal it off but you want to rough it up but you have the tint so i cant tell you how well it will turn. but yeah just hit with some clear sand with 2000grit to ruff it up then apply vht then you want to hit it with the clear then fine sand it and buff

eh see thats the problem i dont want to remove it yet cause i feel like the 90 dollars went to waste if i did it, so maybe in near future ill remove it then VHT it, for now i will just get a tail cover so it will at least be black on the edges and leave it at that, thanks for the input tho fellas
