Thread: LED turn signal. Hyper flash fix - Which one?

Im putting in switchback led running lights (leaving corners amber atm). Which solution should I use for fixing the hyperflash?

Follow this tutorial and purchase one of these Tridon EP28 Flasher relays?

Either the write up or the flasher is the best option.

Change the flasher.

The modules and adapters just simulate the load of a regular bulb, so you don't gain the electrical advantage of going LED, other than the looks.

go autozone or similar parts store and get the flasher that has 3 prongs on the bottom instead of 2, i think its ep29 but im not positive, cut off the middle prong and install. all done no more hyperflash. i have switchbacks too.

Pretty sure you got the number right.

why cant you get one to plug right in and work correctly? you really have to trim a tab off the EP29?

If you have to buy a new flasher, why not buy the right one, EP28.

I found a writeup for the 29 and no info on 28. You guys suck, but I have skill for getting that tab off.

Check post #1. Kinda hard not to find. LOL

I had ordered one from autolumination and it was an ep29 w the prong trimmed off. Then I broke it so I went to advance auto and got an ep29 and trimmed the prong and it worked like its supposed to.

Wasn't on this forum or maybe post #1 didn't exist when I did it. Kinda hard not to get a wise answer from me when you word it like that Bubba Gump ... LOL
