I got 2 new headlight assemblies a couple months ago and they didnt seem to fit well and even still to this day, im not happy with how they fit. Ive seen other Grand Prix's out there with them fitted a bit better. As you can see from the images, they look like they needed to be fitted a bit better...Anyone agree? Here's 2 passenger side images and 1 driver side image:

There are two tabs on the assembly that fit into two slots in the metal core support to hold them in place properly, then the bolts keep them from sliding out.

Are you talking about the two tabs on the corned signal that just slide into the whole assembly?

I just thought they were supposed to fit that way. LOL

I've wasted hours trying to make them fit better, but no go.

the fitment of these lights arent perfect, especially if you get aftermarket ones. ^^^ thats about as good as you are going to get.

Yeah im starting to agree. Although the kind i got are from Depo and from where i work, we order headlight assemblies for the trucks we build and they seem to fit good.
