^x2. The ZXE's are blue-ish. Your better off to go with the Ultra's or just do HID's.
I had the ultra's and went to 5000k HID's in my stock housings and I'm by far more happy with the HID's over the silverstars any day.
And they are the same price.

Mine are VVME and came from ebay. Had them installed since January with no issues so far.
I think they were in the 50-60 shipped range.

If you do HID's, make sure you either don't use the remote to unlock (don't want the HID's flashing like that, they need to be on for 30 seconds at a time).
Or do what we did to mine and route the remote flashing to parking lights instead of headlights.

Blue bulbs = less light output. Stick with a clear halogen bulb if you want better light output such as the philips x-treme power bulbs. They can be had for cheap now.

About two weeks ago I purchased a pair of the ZXE's from my local Autozone store. $60 for the highs and another $60 for the lows. After doing plenty of driving with these lights I find that I get better light output with these than I did with my stock ones. The light output is more of a white output than a blueish color. However, for the price I would just buy HID's and put those in the far instead of these. The only reason I got these is when I pulled into Autozone I noticed I had a headlight out so I went and purchased these. I like them, but don't love them.

I replaced my HID's with ZXE's because I couldn't deal with the radio static anymore....I've had them for a few days and I don't really love them....The bulb itself is blue, but the output isn't....Don't listen to whoever said that.....They're brighter than stock, but just get them on eBay for $35 shipped to your door.

a good set of halogen bulbs is probably going to be better than some ****ty HID kit, regardless of how you cut it.

the fact of the matter is that without projectors HIDs just shoot light everywhere and blind everything in front of your vehicle.

Man you just love to hate on HIDs... I have them in my car. WAYYYYYY better then the crappy halogen bulbs that were in it. And I have not had a single person "flash" me. I have followed friends and they all tell me that mine don't blind anyone...

i love to hate on them because after i realized how a proper headlight setup should be i disposed of any thoughts that plug and play HID kits were worth it. if you can spend $70 on a HID kit, you can spend $350 on a proper projector setup to retrofit your headlights with. being poor isnt an excuse when things are not that expensive. people are just lazy and simply dont care about anyone, but themselves.

I know projectors are the way to go, but not everyone (including myself) can drop close to $400 on parts and new housings and have the skill and know how to do it.

the wing on your car cost that much, so yes you do. the skill part i can see, but there is only one way to figure out how to do it.

It didn't cost even close to that much.
Point of it is, I'm happy with hids and have no issues with them.
A better choice imo than spending a lot on projectors.

But everyone obviously has their own opinion, so take it as you please.
