was wondering if i can buy like a 6000K HID kit for my 05 gp, gettin tired of the ****ty light output the projectors are giving off, so can HID kits fit into the projectors or do i need to do slight moddifications to make the HID fit?

and just a side note, if u want the best light output, you would get no higher than 5000k. I have 6000k and like them, they produce enough light for sure, but 5000k or 4300k would produce more usable light.

really? i thought the 6000k looked brighter, so if i got like the 4k the light would be even brighter?

the farther from white you get, the less usable light there is. But if you like the blueish look of the 6000k's then get them. i have them and they are still way better than the halogens that come with the projectors

5000k is what they put in Nissan and acura. it says in the little paper that comes in the box with the bulb. also you can tell because there is always blue in the bulbs even when they are warmed up. 4300k goes white when warm and is only blue for a few seconds on start up.

I have read that 5k is the "stock" HID look.

Depending on the quality of the bulb and ballast truly defines the light output.

you could get 5000k and call it even, but like i said if u like that blue-ish look than go 6000k, they still produce a good amount of light

also does it matter what output i get? theres 35W and 55W, i can only assume that 55W are going to be brighter?

You won't have much better light output with hids in those since those projectors suck really bad already. You mine as well just run stock lights again or retrofit your lights.

55w is more intense, but they both are very bright.
