Well, after a lot of thinking about which ones to get and a lot of reading on here and looking at pics of others I finally bought a set for mine. Some might like them and some might not but I do and that's all that matters--lol.Seriously though, they look better than I thought they would.I am going to get some led bulbs to put in them to make them really bright, except for the backup lights because I have silverstars in there, gonna wait till they burn out, cost too much to waste them.
Here it is with the stock lights in it

Now here are the new ones

I was thinking of tinting them before I ever bought them, just have to be careful, cops around here can be moody at times so I don't want to go too dark.

what u could do is just vht them, they are darker then the tint but its transparent so when ur braking or w/e u can see the lights np

I'm not a huge fan of those to be honest. In my opinion they look ricey.. but then again it's your car and you have to live with it. I think they will look better if you tint them.

Hey,thanks for all the opinions and yes I probably will end up tinting them. Now to give you all a little background as to why I bought these lights.Personally I don't care for the curvy look of the stock lights so that was one hit against led's,another hit against led's is that I have seen too many cars running around here in town with aftermarket led tails and one or two of the led's will be out, with these lights I can put in led bulbs if I want, have nice bright lights and if it goes out all I have to do is change the bulb. But this wasn't just a spur of the moment buy,I have been going back and forth on which ones I wanted for over 2 months, when you get my age you tend to think about things a lot more before you buy them--lol.

The alien ship thing didn't bother me,too old to let stuff like that get under my skin. What would have bothered me is if I had bought led lights and a year down the road 1 or 2 of the led's quit working, that was a big factor in why I went with the simple lights.

VHT is a **** product please dont mess up your lights.. Find someone to tint them for you. In the end you will be happy with them.

These are the best lights I have seen yet tinted

They are painted with a few lines that are open so the lighting is the same as stock then the lower is tinted lightly. Lights are awesome in every way so time to find a nice stock set to have them done for my car.

those tinted lights look good, and I think I am going to have to tint mine,I checked them out tonight and with regular bulbs the brake lights are bright,a lot brighter than the stock lights were. The back up lights will nearly blind you with the Silverstar bulbs in there. One thing I wanted away from was the curves of the stock lights, never liked that from the day I got the car, some people like them,I just happen to be one that doesn't,I like the smooth look, plus I think the smooth tails added about 5 more hp to the car--lol

they are dull looking. if you like dull tail lights then they look ok. I want shiny tail lights to match a shiny car.vht doesnt last and its spraycan stuff. Do them right the first time. spend the 10-15 dollars more.

You will NEVER get them to shine with spraycan stuff. Maybe VHT then a good clearcoat out of a spray gun you would get the shine.

Sorry if I rubbed you the wrong way or anyone that used VHT.
