Okay didnt want to start a new thread, but how hard is it to screw up using VHT nightshade? because it is like $30 a taillight at the local junkyard I believe.
scale 1-10 10 hardest..... 3.. maybe a 2... not difficult at all... at least for me.
alright once school gets out I may have to get this done. any other place besides O'reillys carry VHT?
menards napa really any auto store
Does someone have a link for Flips site? I must have missed it? Probably gonna test this out on my stockers for practice to prep for the Red LED tails!
read this http://www.grandprixforums.net/how-v...hts-30474.html follow it down to the last direction worked absolutley great on mine i did one coat on the reverse bar 2 on the tails and spoiler light, looks great.
Bummer well his pics of his work are awesome! Cant wait to try this.
Yup his work is top notch. 0 regrets in sending him my tails, brake, and rev..till this day still looks good.
Yeah i bought mine from menards for 7 bucks lol
got mine at Home Depot for like 6 bucks a can i think.. cheapest i've seen it anywhere
I used the nightshade and well lets just say I went with 6 or 7 coats a bit much you might say, I think it looks great on the car. I however found a way to get around the whole issue of being pulled over left and right. <(AFTER BEING PULLED OVER 4 NIGHTS IN A ROW)> DON'T PAINT THE REFLECTOR STRIPS!!! It may look a little less sleek but if your any good it at least shows attention to detail.
It's not as dark as you might think. I left the reflective strip as is. I haven't had much issue with police or people not being able to see them.

Anyone use rustoleum lens tint? I went to use it very lightly with all the proper steps and it seems like it is just wiping off when i polished and waxed them. Iw anted it just enough to cover the delamination. Any input?
