Hey guys, i had an incident with a bottle of coolant in my trunk.

The latch that covers the hidden compartment on the right side of the trunk kind got loose in my trunk and managed to puncture a jug of coolant in my trunk. I threw the old trunk floor carpet out and got a new one along with the particle board in an attempt to get rid of any coolant in the area(fogging up my windows like mad, so annoyin). So i need a new particle board and around here 04+'s arent exactly a dime a dozen. Was just curious if the 97-03 GPs have the same particle board? or are they like the Grand Ams? And even if it was would it fit the spare tire hole properly in my GP(including the threaded sprocket to hold the jack in place)?

Also some advice on stoppin my windows from fogging would be nice haha.

    Thanks guys, and Merry Xmas.

Hey, mary christmas! Sorry about that, sounds like a pain in the a$$. In my grand prix, my fiberboard was also damaged and when i installed my stereo back there, I didn't want to have to show people my broken piece of crap for a spare tire cover. My solution was to simply replace it with one I had made. It was simple enough and the parts are easy to find. The fiberboard itself is about a 1/4in thick and can be found at any home improvement store. It is glossy on both sides and is a dark brown pressed board. The carpet can also be found in a felt. I went to Jo-ann fabrics to get mine. The color is charcoal and it should be easy to find at other stores as well. I went ahead and used the old one to cut out the shape. Then used some spar adhesive to cover the new fiberboard with m charcoal felt. It looks amazing and functions even better than the old one did. Hopefully this helps and if you have any more question feel free to ask! Have a great day.
    Infinity all around.
