    ordering HID headlights (high and low) and HID fog-lights.

    9005 for high
    9006 for low

    manual says 989 for fog... however, the guys im ordering from say the H11 has same socket, same lock pattern just different bulb shape. can anyone verify this?

    thanks for anyone who can!

    881 = 886, 889, 894, 896, 898 have same PGJ13 base.

    The H11 may fit, but I can't confirm that.

    H11 will replace a 896, H8, 894, H11B, 881, 886, 898

    Edit, Ya beat me to it. opened the topic up and ran off from the computer for a minute or 15....

    The 898 Has a wider Socket-opposing tab. Where as the H11 has a narrow one. I dont see any problem with it. Only concern would be the depth of the filament relative to the reflector causing a different light pattern. Could possibly have some undesired effects of changing the light throw or focus.

    wow thanks when comparing at the auto zone, they looked similar.. the bulb looks different (bigger) but not any longer.. looks more like a 9005 style bulb

    I just tried putting in H11s from hidonlinestore.com and they did not fit. I tried the 880s from my brothers impala and they fit perfectly. Id go with the 808s i have a 2004 grand prix gt
