Lawl...^^ that.
GM doesn't even stock one side anymore I think...and they want a billion doll hairs for the other side that they still have.
$37 isn't bad for fillers, thanks for letting me know they price though, I need to fill the holes my rails left after I yanked them off
didnt buy em lol just wanted to see if they could get it. i told him i wanted the roof rails from the daytona gtp and he said he knew what i was talking about lol so i gotta check them out before i buy anything
if you saw my recent "painting" youd disagree with me painting anything.. lol lemme just say i had to order a new set or mirrors because of my painting...
Every 40th is that Dark Cherry Met (weird purple color) unless it is painted btw the owner.. the interior matches it too :P
Guarantee hes looking at the drop in stock replacement fillers, not the sought after Daytona/40th rails.
Stock filler replacement GM# 22743310 - $37.19 per side (1 part number, same for both sides, this is a clue)...this is what he quoted you
Daytona/40th Left Side - GM# 12336037 - Discontinued, no $$$
Daytona/40th Right Side - GM#12336036 - $176.73 (unpainted) (technically discontinued as well, but stock still in Lansing, MI)
but nobody wants to pay that much for one side when you can pay a little more and have both.
BTW did I mention, I work parts for GM??? :P
I'll sell you a flat black set for $200 shipped, kiddo.
I just put them on my silver car, you guys are dummies.
It'd take quite a bit more than $200 to get me to rip them off and sell them.
