I just need to know which are the best housings that aren't going to fog up, and aren't going to start peeling after a year (like my last ones).... they are not going to be retroed, they are just going right on the car. Any help would be great! thanks

most of my car is silver and black so I'm going to stick with black.... i thought a lot about the chrome.... but nothing else on my car is chrome. I am just looking at this point for something that is going to hold up good.... i paid 100 dollars for my last set and they fogged up constantly

You want the best housing? Stock, hands down. Even if you had to sand them down every so often and throw some clear on them. You want the best light output? One word, retro. Know you're not wanting to retro, but stating the obvious here.

I have tried to go down the retro road and i simply am not throwing 3-5 hundred dollars into a retro.... because when i do something i do it right so i know it would run atleast 500. I want the BEST AFTERMARKET (OEM LOOKALIKE) HOUSING. I thought about getting oem ones from pfyc.com but the are 400 dollars. I would like to stay under 200..... no sanding, no clear coating

I did my retrofit including Morimoto HID bulbs and ballasts (~$150) and new headlight housing all for under $400 bucks.

My after market headlights are still good 1.5 years later, you should just make sure you rub plastiX on them and wax them on occasion and you won't have a problem. They should be fine.
