When Kyle99GTP posted up his pics of his detailed GTP, it made me really realize how badly I needed to make an effort in getting my car's paint in better shape. After putting on my new SLP Spoiler I realized this even more. So I went shopping around for a kit, I already know I want the Porter Cable 7424 buffer, but finding the right polishing kit is key to a good job.

I found this one on eBay and I wanted to ask people's thoughts on this one and if anyone can offer suggestions, please feel free to post them.

Here is the one kit I found that seemed pretty good.

eBay Motors: Porter Cable 7424 with XL Pad Kit - buffing polishing (item 310069724665 end time Aug-02-08 20:04:26 PDT)

    Thanks for looking

    seems to be ideal.
for a diyer that is a good kit, I prefer a real buffer (variable speed and heavy) but that will get the job done well, and is a very good product for the money, it just won't last if you do it alot

You can get the PC7424 off of Ebay new for ~$100, then buy the pads that will actually use.
