    Wondering which one is a better buy or worth it? Is the 8500 going to be bluer then the 8000? Look at the tinting on the bulbs, it looks like the 8000 is tinted more blue, but I have been told that the 8500's are more blue because of the k rating, but they have a silver tip on them so wouldn't they be more white then blue?

    8500 = More blue but less light,,,, I would go with the 6000k, it sets off alot of light with a hint of blue,, but the highger you go the bluer or purle you get..

    10000k = purple

    Neither one of those bulbs are 8000K or 8500K. Those are just plain old halogen bulbs with blue glass. Doesn't matter which set you buy becuase neither one of them are going to be blue at all, and are going to produce very poor light output.

    Sorry dude, but if you want it too look like that your only choice is to buy real HID's.

    Thanks for the input. I will probably stick with stock then.

    Lol

    If you want real light out put either hid kit or regular bulbs but stuff like sylvania ultravison 50+ philips has one like 40+.

    Yes those will be brighter then the silverstars just not the cool white look.
    Silverstars have a tint on the bulb so light output is diminished unless you get the real silverstars that are made in Germany.

    HID will get the white light to purple. Dont want to go anything past 6k after that you are losing light output.

    Want more light? Get some CLEAR 9007 bulbs from a reputable manufacturer and then build/buy a 9007 harness with power relays. Blue light is HORRIBLE...
    The GPs are long gone...
