Alright ya bastids, i uploaded some pics to the GF thread.
Boosten...how did your do your steering wheel controls blue, I have them apart and not sure where to start.
Edit.. guessing this is you on Grand Prix Net http://www.grandprix.net/forum/ubbth...=135979&page=1
Can't see the pics at all. do you still have them?
Yes that is me. And nope, all those pics are lost somewhere on an old hard drive lol. But the steering wheel controls were pretty difficult because its such a tight space to fit an LED in. Reason it took me so long to do the whole thing was because of trial an error. I would solder them on, go check in the car to make sure they work. If they don't pull it apart and redo it.
If you don't want to mess with the steering controls yourself, you can buy premade sets from ZZP for like $60 or so which come with any color you want. That's probably what I would do if i ever did this again.
Ya, there really isnt much room in there. Also, for the headlight/dimmer switch, did you have to cut it open? because it doesnt look like it comes apart like everything else.
Okay, The OverLay finally came in today, and now i think i kno the knob switch that u are talkin about that came with it. its like a little switch panel that says Blue/Green, did u install yours yourself? and if so can u tell me how?
plz and thanks
@boostengto02 where did you run your boost guage wires im getting ready to install my gauges but dont know where to run the through thr firewall
I ran them through a rubber gromit in the firewall.
Oh by the way the headlight switch isn't that bad. Peel the front of it back in the four. Lenses to reveal screw Locations and it will slide apart. Just one bulb in there
thing with the headlight switch in the 97-03's is when you take it out, the car will not shut up lol
