Hopefully.

After I fix the engine and as long as the weather is 70* or above, I think I am getting a real good hook up from an Airbush artist that I know. He's worked on many autmotive vehicles before, and he kinda stopped doing that just because it's gotten time consuming for him, especially when he does airbrush shirts, Vinyl and whatnot.

ANYWAYS

I talked to him earlier regarding my right side of the car, where it either seems like the people who painted the right side of the car did a really ****ty job, or effed up on the clear coat. So he decided that he would try buffing sanding some/most of the clear coat off and re clear coat to see if that would fix the problem, if not We'd have to paint the right side.

But, things get better...

I talked to him today wondering how much it would cost to re clear coat the entire car, the paint of the car is in good condition for the most part, so why not just sand down a layer or two off the clear coat, and re clear coat? He basically told me he'd me a little of the materials I'd need to buy in order to do that whole task, I was pretty damn happy.

BUT (lol)

He also mentioned this on his own. He offered to do some kind of stripes down the car in silver, where it starts off regular near the hood, and fades as it goes up back into the midnight blue color. Seems like a cool idea, since I havent seen something like that done before but, 1.) I don't know if it'll look ricey with stripes, and 2.) I am going with a Midnight Blue/Rally Yellow kinda theme.

So either once I finish the motor, I can job on this before the Fall/Winter, or I can wait till when it gets warm again to go through with this project.

I defintely am going to do the clear coat, but should I bother with the stripes? Should I do something else? Suggestions? Comments? Concerns?
