Your use of the word rear fender when discussing a quarter panel made me
And you don't just glue on quarter panels most require a pinch weld and then a seam sealer. And replacing a quarter panel isn't easy. You have to cut out the entire section. Which still requires the removal of many components and small things here and there. The way you are posting you make it sound like it's as easy as installing a CAI on your car.
There is a reason cars are designed they way they are today. Ever wonder why we don't use steel dashes any more? Someone finally figured out that using plastic and other soft materials inflicts less damage on a person. In other words safety and technology have completely changed the game when building cars.
People always say "they don't make cars like they used to...."
And i say no they make them better.
And those doors kick some serious ass now. Looking way better than with the moldings on. Get that dent fixed and your Grand Prix will look tits.
Your Grand Prix will actually be DIFFERENT than the next Grand Prix. This is called thinking outside the box and thank God some of the next Generation has it.
i will be pulling the dent out and reworking the metal on the car.
i have all the tools and my dad used to do professional body work
i don't have access to a welder or a rear quarter from a coupe within 50 miles
How in the world are you going to repair that without a dent dog etc? I hope you guys aren't planning on using just a hammer and dolly.
i'll be using the weld on pull hammer thingy
i cant remember names for crap after work but my paint is cracked from the dent and the whole car will need paint so.....
How are YOU going to fill in the holes in the car? Just curious?
have a body shop weld them
do the trunk lid (key hole delete) and remove the finger hole on the gas door
Why would you remove the finger hole? Do you have a popper for the gas door?
