6K HID's low beam is the basic yellow color.

So I bought a set of 6K HID's and the low beam is the same yellow color as the old lights. is this normal?

Nope...they must have packaged the wrong color.

6K's are bright with a little hint of blue.

4300K is the bright white

3K is yellow.

But the High beam is the 6K but the low beam is the yellow.

sounds like a wiring issue. maybe they are mixed up? I know when i turn on my foglights my hi-beam indicator comes on, even though my low beams are on. I have DDM 8000k hids.

well 4300 can be pure white... except, the light color depends on the glass quality, good quality will be pure white, **** will look like a halogen

ok well I just bought a cheap set off ebay. will buying a nice set of bulbs fix this problem?

Ok are the low beams stock looking? or are they HID yellow? Are your high beams aimed low, and look more like low beams?

Ok so my low beams are yellow. My high beams are the 6K HID's. I'm just wondering if it's normal. I don't really care because I'm fine with just running my highs. But if I bought a set of low beam only bulbs will I be able to run my fogs when I upgrade those?

Dont run just your highs... everyone wil hate you for blinding them... And if you drove toward me I would probably run your A** off the road for blinding me... My cars fully insured!
