Stupid question, and not to sound cheap. But can i just take the corner lense apart and pull the reflector out. It looks like its just sitting in there, and just re caulk it. Has any one done this? or do i just sound like a redneck.
If any one here has a factory corner lense look at it and tell me.

Did you mean brake or bake as in heat it up. i thought i could just pull the whole assembly out and use a razor blade to seprerate the lense from the caulk and housing.

I have seen people use a screw diver to break the reflector up with out pulling it apart. Use the light hole to break the stuff up and needle nose to break into smaller pieces to come out

eBay Motors: PONTIAC GRAND PRIX 97-03 CHROME EURO CLEAR CORNER LIGHT (item 270253419234 end time Jul-14-08 15:39:19 PDT)

^^^^ That way it does'nt look stupid, and it saves you the trouble of ruining your corner light trying to take the reflector out.

If you wanna take them apart, just throw one in the oven at 200-225* for about 5 minutes. That'll warm it up enough to soften the silicone sealant so you can pull the lens off. Remove the reflector, clean the mating surfaces VERY well, and reseal with a good quality clear or white silicone.

i did mean bake. you put them in the oven and the glue gets soft which lets you just pull them apart. you have to reseal them though.

    i just bought clearn cornors.
