I think I'm gonna paint my cross bars tomorrow (fender support braces if you like ). What kind of paint should I use? Rust-o-Leum or whatever? One is kinda rusty, so I will sand them a lil' bit. Should I use primer or no?? Are they easy to get on/off? Thanks any info would be SUPER helpful.

I used Krylon Fusion Plastic Paint on mine and only had a problems with minor ware where my strut tower bar hits the bottom of my hood. I sanded them with a 3M scuff pad then hit them with a couple coats of paint. They look awesome. Get yourself a metric ratchet kit to take them off and youll have no problems. I believe they are 13mm. Ill snap pics tomorrow.
