Was thinking of doing a trim delete as well as debadge. Just wondering if anyone has removed there trim on a 97-03 gp if so any pics. Also opinions, what is your view on the doing so.

I wouldn't delete the trim unless your wanting to do some body work. Be a man and shave the doors.

ok, if you are talking about the door ding guards, they have holes under them, so you would need to have them filled and then repainted. what neg is saying, is if you are gonna do that, you might as well eliminate the door handles and get poppers, go for a ultra clean look.

Yeah..... if you delete the trim, might as well delete the handles. Remove trim, cut out impression on door, flip around and weld back in. Remove the hands and weld in filler metal. Then smooth is all out and refinish. Don't do any of that fill the impression with bondo crap either. Thats just my two cents.... if your going for it... go big.

I know you are '97-'03 but this is what it would look like on an 04+ if someone ever did it... minus the door handles.

Well Ill definately do a DEBADGE seeing as Im told to by everyone. I think my fiance is even warmed up to the idea. Im also gonna remove the trim and go that route. As for the door handles thats gonna have to wait. Seen people who did that, battery died couldnt get in. That is whats bothering me about that idea. But Im gonna consider it when I have some extra money.

Well... the kicker is going to be the autobody part. Unless you can do bodywork... it will get expensive.
