Hi can anyone tell me if bi-xenon bulb hids are just a single bulb that does a hi and lo beam? I have seen bulbs that do this with a motor. Are these bi-xenon bulbs. Also does the 9005/9006 bulbs fit into both bulb spaces (right or left) on a 04+ gp??

Reason I ask is because I ordered a bi-xenon hid kit with 9006 bulbs and they say its hi and lo.

9006 bulbs will only fit into the low beam spot. The outer most spot. And no, they are not hi and low beam. Just low. 9007 is the one you are thinking about with the motor on the back that does high and low beam, but you can't use those on 04+.

thats funny. I ordered a bi xenon kit 9006 bulbs. What your saying is the only way to get a hi/lo beam hid kit for 04+ gps is to get 4 bulbs?? (2 9006 and 2 9005) and the 9007 will not fit an 04+?

in that case I guess my order was mesed up.

and would 2 separate kits work??? a low beam kit (9006) then a high beam kit (9005). That would be 4 bulbs total 4 ballasts etc..will this work fine?

Yeah, that'll work. Most people don't find it necessary to bother with HID high beams after putting them in the low beams though.

I think I need to do HID Fogs! =) On my 04 gtp the low beams stay on with the high beams. I haven't changed my highs to anything..the color output is terrible all yellowy. I'm running 6,000k in my lows. Incredible! No light flashing at all. I just need a little bit more coverage before I'd feel comfortable just running them without ever using highs. I live in country usa take me home. Deer can become a problem and even moose. Just saw on the news someone hit one on the local highway...oops. They were able to spare the moose meat and donate it to local food banks. =p I bet the persons car was crumbled. It was a younger moose; not a full grown, but even the young ones can ruin a persons day.
