base clear good luck no way id paint an entire car single stage. I wouldnt be able to flash it right to get it to shine. Besides if your not happy with base clear just wetsand more.

I painted an entire car in a gravel driveway. The colour worked great. Clear was ok. I think it was my guns fault. It's not tricky. Just need space and time

im the other way, id paint a whole car with singlestage, then BC. its easier to be a hero and get single stage to lay flatter.

I asked how the hood was coming and when I needed to bring the car by? and he replied with I’ll let you know when to stop by with the car to pre-fit the hood.

On top of what you payed for the hood... man, a new hood, plus shipping, plus paint, plus fitment, would've been cheaper.

I think this is my fault too because this is the email I sent him

Hey Tim, just checking in to see how the grand prix hood is coming along, Theres no rush or anything the car isn't my daily driver currently, and I can imagine with that hail storm a few weeks ago you guys are staying busy. So just get back to me when you can. Oh and the paint code for the car is U8554 I know you probally want to make sure everything fits on the car first but maybe you can order the paint before I drop the car off so its not taking up room sitting there, although you guys probally mix your own paint.

    Thanks,
    Cole Ewing

I was trying to be nice and polite because I know no one likes it when customers are all like wheres my sh*t at? Then heres the email I got back. At first I thought alright he will probably call me in a day or 2, but then I read the email again and realized he started out with "Thanks" which means hes thinking he has all the time in the world and I think he set the thing aside now and has put all other work ahead of mine. Argh!

    Thanks, Cole

I’ll let you know when to stop by with the car to pre-fit the hood.

    Tim

Ask if they have even started on it. If not refund and go elsewhere

does this look ok for an email before I send it? I need input.

Just thought I would check in again, When are we looking at getting this thing finished end of next week? or later? Next Saturday is July 9th and I dropped the hood of on June 9th. I'm not in any real hurry just don't think a thousand plus dollars for that kind of turn around time is that great. If you could just give me a date it dosen't have to be exact but within a day or two. So I know when I need to bring the car in because I have other projects on it that need done, and I would like to know when I can start on them or need them finished by.

    Thanks,
    Cole Ewing

Screw saying your not in a hurry.
Change the line to read " I'm not trying to be a pain, I just don't think" … etc
