I'm thinking of putting a few switches in my car for various things (interior lights, fire department lighting, etc.) but don't know where to put them. I got a few of the red lighted switches for now, but I may end up getting the smaller ones from RS. What do you guys have & where do you recommend putting them? Thanks.

You can put switches in a ton of spots. I always used factory switches and molded them in using SEM paint to give them a factory look.

Guess I'm gonna have to step this thread up a notch or two.

I put a Homelink where a fog light switch had been in the overhead console. Then some guys asked me to do a double switch

Had to move the fog light from it's switch shown above to one that looked more native to the car

Who doesn't like heated seats? Well the best Bonneville seats ever made, didn't come heated. Took care of that and added GP switches, they matched.

It's all possible, you just have to want things to look factory.

All was me. Plus I did a bunch more things. But for the purpose of the thread, let's say JB Weld sands the nicest of all the stuff I've tried using. Then hit it with a high build SEM primer, SEM texsture, knock that down a touch and the right SEM paint.

You guys do know that SEM makes the paints that match our interiors right?
