How long should one expect to wait to get a bumper cover and hood painted? They are both off the vehicle. Yesterday was two weeks since I dropped them off. I'm starting to get a little PO'd.

    i'd have called them already.

last time i had paint work done it took 3 days, had a grill and under bumper pieces done, and i dropped off the truck for 1 day to repaint my door sills. well the night before and picked it up at the end of the day. i did have an appointment tho.

true that, thats why i called and asked when to bring it in, got a date told when it would be done by give or take a day, then the day before i picked up the grill and stuff, i dropped off the truck so they could paint it. took it all home in one shot, and started swapping out parts, i had a broken grill so i got a used one different color, so i wasn't with out anything while i waited, but a hood missing for 2 weeks is a long time. its all in the planning.

Well, I called, got a quote and dropped it off. Didn't really make an appointment. After a week, I called and they said they had a question about my hood. So why didn't they call me. I called last Friday. They said they had the hood fixed and it would be painted early this week. I called today. Now they said Thursday or Friday. I think I've been pretty patient so far, but come on.
