I have a 2004 Grand prix GT and i just installed some switchbacks. Everything seemed fine at first they were white while the car was on and turned orange with the blinker. Now i noticed they are orange running lights like the stock bulbs and they just blink like stock bulbs too. They only turn white if i turn my park lamps on then theyre white and turn orange with the blinker. anyone else have this problem?

Funny. I had this problem, then it went away by itself with no explanation.

Isnt this the way they are supposed to be? With mine they are orange during the day(DRLs) and function like a normal amber turn signal bulb. When I turn my headlights on, they switch to white and provide the switch-back functionality(orange when turn signal is activated, then back to white).

You're probably right sdavis. I just remembered that I capped my light sensor so my lights are always on.

I was wrong...that is how it works. is there any way to make it white all the time and only orange when the blinker is on?

Put electrical tape over the light sensor.
