So to often while I'm cruising and a car rolls up next and we think we might race...they look down to the side of my car, notice the GTP supercharged on the side and back out...ALL THE TIME!! Makes for boring nights for me. So I went and rearranged the damn things. I took off the side badges and then took of the Grand Prix on the trunk, and put on GTP where the Grand Prix was..I like the look and I'm hoping people will think I'm some lonely grandma car...except the exhaust might still give me away, but they won't know about the supercharger at least!

we'll see if this accomplishes what I want. If not then I'll try it. I still have my supercharged pride!

Yea, its's kind of a big badge for the trunk. I know how you feel about people seeing the GTP and getting intimidated, so I just totally debadged mine and it solved the problem. No one knows what's under the hood until they make a jump and hear the s/c when I hit the gas. Makes for a good day when you see the look on their face.

That things just a ploy to throw people off. There are so many running around with them that nobody thinks anything about it. Having supercharged on the side of yur car tends to throw up a red flag though. But, keep in mind it is coming off the car soon. It was just a car show scene phase I was going through.

Might look better in person. To me it looks like it sticks out more on the trunk than it does on the doors.

Doesn't look bad. I personally usually prefer de-badged and shaved (trunk lock) though. I would think the GTP supercharged on the back would be more of a sign than on the bottom of the doors when someone is pulling up.

yeah it might be if they are paying attention..but usually it's when I'm next to them that things get started and that's when they get to looking.

When you took the grand prix badge off the trunk was there any holes under it? I want to debadge my gtp but I am worried there might be holes under some of the badges.

There are no holes under any of the badges. Just stuck on there with double sided tape.

No problem. When I took mine off, I use a razor knife that the blade extends out and has the break off blades. It mad it easier because with the blade extended all the way out, it made it kinda flexible. Got a corner started to pull the badge out some and then used the blade to cut through the sticky tape to where it wouldn't hit the paint. Then whatever sticky tape that was left I got off by rubbing my finger over it. Came off pretty easy due to how old the sticky tape was.
