    • Last weekend I decided to fix all cosmetics on my 05 gxp.....so i painted the whole car......
    list of areas fixed:
    • front bumper (stone chips)
    • driver side fender (small dent)
    • driver side rear door (small dent)
    • driver side dog leg (stone chips)
    • rear bumper (small scratches)
    • trunk (dent by reverse light)
    • passenger side dog leg (stone chips)
    • passenger side rear door (small dent)
    • hood (replace stock with inferno)
    • front bumper grill and emblem (painted flat black)
with all that done i decided to blend all the base out so that everything matches.....

    things to come:
    • paint nostrils on hood flatt black
    • paint spoiler flat black except the middle of it, thats staying body color
    Here are the pics...

Just a curious question since you did everything yourself. How much would you charge to paint a car?

if its painting the same color and not much body work like in mine i can get it done in a weekend but i usually dont paint whole cars on side jobs....and cost of something like i did to mine is about $2500 to $3000....thats to cover labor, materials, and over head costs of the shop.....paints expensive but if done right looks real nice...

Ok. Cause I need someone to touch up my paint cause of some dings and **** in it and was just curious. If i decide to go ahead with fixing the paint up I'll keep you in mind if you wouldn't mind doing it.

Ive been saying this for a long long time paint isnt that hard to do to make it lood great if its done right and it shouldnt cost much more than materials and whats needed to paint for cost. 3k for paint is insane IMO. Its mostly in the prep work and cleanliness!!!
