Alright let me know what everyone thinks of this cheapo lip spoiler I got.
I plan on putting some fiberglass over it then painting it to match but I think the back of the car looks better.

thanks its just on with 3M now might put some fiberglass over it them sand and paint.

Its as far back as it can go with out hanging off. I think the reflection is messing with you. It honestly looks better in person. I mocked up the curve and made a template with cardboard to match the curve of the trunk then took green painters tape and ran a strip as a guide for where the front of the spoiler should sit to match the curve then laid down some 3M double sided tape and heated up the spoiler with a hair dryer so it would bend around the curve better.Originally Posted by BillBoost37

Bio, I wasnt going to fiberglass it to the trunk as in mold it.
I was going to fiberglass the lip spoiler its self then sand and paint it and 3M tape it back on so its body color not black. I dont think paint would last very long on the rubber its actually made out of.

And damn it Blue Ill have to get other pics the reflection is messing with you I told bill the same thing its at the back of the trunk, any farther back and it would hang off the back because the trunk curves down towards the tail lights too!
Just wanted opinions if I should keep it or take it off again think its gonna stay.

I added 4 more pics any farther back it would start slope down towards the tail lights and the front would stick up.

it looks too small for the trunk, i dunno about it either. could just be the pics.
it should go to the edges(sides) of the trunk lid at least.

The fitment could be a little better, like I was saying I'd like to cover this in fiberglass and maybe make the back edge of it sit better on the tail light side. (Becasue the pics suck and no one believes me its back as far as it will go with out sticking up in the front!!!!) Also if I start working with fiberglass I could make the sides extend out a little bit further and clean up the fitment for the left and right sides. I wouldnt mold the entire lip spoiler to the trunk Im just talking about fiberglassing it to fit better and paint it then use 3M tap to put it back on the same way it is now. Either way I think it looks better than nothing at all and for the price of like 25 bucks its gonna stay on.
