Got them done, they're not bolted into the brackets so they're just sitting there. Just gotta screw the bulb holders in and clip the bulb retaining clip in. I have to reseal the corners but I'll do that tomorrow. More pics to come.....

The red you see in the relfection isn't the actual wires for the bi-xenon solenoid just the reflection. Enjoy these nice 3.2 mp pics

I like all the sets I do really, there's always somethng that makes it interesting. I wouldn't ship out anything I wouldn't put on my car. I'll do these for people but expect a few days for a set. I don't rush anything and I've got all the tools and supplies to do these. It's costly, if I mess something up I'm the one who pays for it, I'm a one man show.

I can assure you one thing if I do a set for someone. There will be no water leaks in the capsules. Actually you'll be lucky to ever get the lense back off with the butyl sealant I use it's very strong. It's expensive but it's better than rtv cause there's simply no mess really. You just trim the excess off.

Ok for those of you that don't know or haven't had time to realize I'm an approved vendor on the site for retro services.

I've customized a sig for contact info and PM'd Rocket for release of pricing on my 97-03 gp retro housed headlights. Should be up pretty soon for those of you that can't tackle this yourself.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you "think" you can do a retro you probably would be better off letting someone do it for you. Sure there's going to be guys/girls with the ability to do it on their own. However it will probably be cheaper said and done by someone that's done these retro's before. Extra headlights and shrouds can get expensive not to mention all the supplies that go into a successful retro build is costly in itself.

Thanks to everyone that's kept up on my thread and thanks for the comments. I actually welcome opinions good or bad and look forward to doing business with a lot of members here.

I actually dremel directly behind the body of the projector on the bottom of the housing. There's two reasons for this,

    1. It's invisible to the eye,

    2. I seal the hole that I cut for the solenoid wires with JB Stick. It hardens in 3-5 minutes thus permanently sealing the bottom of the housing from moisture where the wires protrude thru the housing. I lay 2 pieces of foil tape, then JB Stick right over top of the foil.

the shrouds werent too bad, got one done and only screwed it up a little. now i know what not to do next time.

they arent sealed yet, i still have to make sure they line up right with the shroud on there.

Nice job swiggles looks nice. I've always got extra shrouds here, just for that reason of possibly cutting to much. Did you cover the cuts with foil tape so no ugly light escapes into the capsule? Have you got a chance to get them aimed yet or any output pictures?

I've added an album on my profile page for more pics if you need anymore help just let me know. Now I suggest you get to an autoparts store near you for some meguires paint scrub and meguires nxt 2.0 haha!

It's awesome to be able to see at night isn't it Brad!!!!

Your car looks amazing, blacked out

I'm not a fan of 4 doors but for some reason I sure like your car. Did you bolt these into factory headlight brackets? If any of your friends that have gp's send them my was if they indeed want to be able to see at night.

i did not do any foil tape for the ugly light. i dont mind the light in the capsules, kinda give it more of a stock look with the lights on. if i do another set, and i probably will, ill do them blacked out and do the foil tape then and add some CCFLs on them.

I know my car is filthy! i blew the motor so the car has been covered in snow in the driveway all winter. i was going to wash her today but decided to finish the retrofit instead. no output pics yet im letting the sealant dry now and then ill try to limp the car across the street to aim them.

You pretty much just need working headlight adjusters to dial them in if you mount them correctly. You will love it, makes driving so much more enjoyable. I may even go 4300k in my retro's. The 4 5000k bulbs is super white and pretty dang bright! Morimoto makes 880 bulbs but only in 5000k I think from what I've seen.

The cutoff from a good distance on the green refelective roadsigns is amazing. I don't have a good enough camera to capture the color flicker but when you bend down a bit and get to that level it's sweet.

ya i had spyders and they were nice for a year but i got sick of the bouncing. projectors should be a law lol.

i did 5000k to match my switchbacks, i think i put 4300k in my fogs but its been awhile so i dont remeber if they are 5000k too.

Here's a pic of just the bi-xenons before I adjusted them down about 3 feet. I didn't have a tape on me for the 25 ft mark either. I'm going to fine tune everything another night just wanted to get a quick pic for those of you asking about the hi beam. Pretty sick of my camera quality, it definitely doesn't do the lights justice. I'm not sure of what camera to buy. I don't want anything super expensive but need to invest for sure into a camera with more megapixels.

Here's just low beams, you can see I've eliminated all the cross beam with my adjusters. Rotationally they're 98%, I can tweak the projector from the back with some vice grips no biggy. Honestly they still need to come down a bit which I've got plenty of adjustment left for that, don't want to be blinding people. However I've not been flashed yet so I think it's good.
