I really never meant to knock your craftsmanship OR your fit and finish Clean, your work is nice from the pictures I've seen, and it seems like your customer service is good also.

As far as I know TRS still sells halo's..... although it's already a pita to get them to fit with the mini gun shrouds let alone a full size shroud. I'm not sure I could do it.....

    edit...

Then again after looking at them the 60mm could be quite possible as long as their compatible with mini gun shrouds. I will contact Matt for more info for those interested... No other shroud will even remotely fit as far as I know other than mini gatling gun...

Quick note all Morimoto H1 projectors are on backorder from the retrofitsource.com until 7/21/2011

Guys if you need parts or HID related components get them from Matt at TRS. His customer service is second to none. Great prices and he has helped me imensely over the last year or two. Any parts I use for a customers retro comes directly from www.theretrofitsource.com , he is located in Columbus Ohio which is no more than 1 hr away from my business. I get things next day from him!!!!!

If any item in your order is unavailable at this time, it will be listed below:
    - Morimoto Mini H1 Projectors

    Estimated ship date is 7/21/2011

TRS tries to avoid back-ordered parts, but due to variability in things like higher than normal demand, vendor lead time, customs clearance, and holiday delays- they do, unfortunately, sometimes happen. Any orders with parts that are back-ordered can generally be filled within 3-5 days after their original placement date. If you have parts on back-order, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

Please Note: If you prefer to have the rest of your items shipped out, and the back-ordered part(s) shipped separately when they become available- let us know and we will gladly do that for you. (you will not be responsible for additional shipping costs)

Alternatively: We can substitute your part for an item of equal value and ship immediately, or charge you a discounted difference to upgrade. (or refund any difference in the case of a lower priced substitution)

If there are any questions, concerns now or when your parts arrive, please don't hesitate to contact us. You can simply reply to this email or call at 614-653-3451.

this may be a dumb questions, no it is but anyways, i was thinking since i dont really care for the single projector look i was woundering if you could make it with two projectors in the stock housing, i was thinking maybe staggered, like the low beam be ferther up in the housing then the other one can be using for something, no clue as to what, if i could use them then i would make the 2nd as a double high beam and stright blind the world, feel free to tell me how stupid of an idea this is

That wouldn't be too much of a problem on 04+, but 97-03 can barely fit the one projector and shroud in the capsule. God help anyone who wanted to try and retro two projectors into one capsule!

Only 1 problem how you going to mount these 2 projectors cause it's hard enough to do one. Have you ever looked at the back of the stock capsule on a 97-03? There's a severe angle/slope, you could mount the one projector as normal but how are you going to mount the second projector? Only way is to drill 4 holes in the back of the housing and use nuts and bolts. Does anyone understand how hard it is to get the rotation of just one projector correct...... serious ? here! I guess if you've never done a retro you wouldn't quite understand how easy it isn't!!!!

Not only would it be next to impossible getting 2 morimoto's in a 97-03 housing you would have such serious cross beam because of the angle of the housing on the backside. Not to mention I'd highly doubt the projector lense would clear the capsule lense on the second projector. Also by the time you finally did get the rotation correct and everything ready to bolt in I'm sure it would be tweeked when you lock down the nuts on the bolts. Not to mention how are you going to get the nuts to hold anything tight with the slope of the housing? Just a few thoughts!

Nothing is impossible, if you can get 2 Mori H1's with mini gatling gun shrouds into a 97-03 housing you're better than I am at doing those and I must retire

I have to admit............if these were done with two projectors in each capsule, staggered, maybe one being smaller than the other, i would actually consider buying a set!

Like I said in pm with you, anything is possible. Would it be time/cost effective for me to do for someone, not so sure. There would be 2 1/2 times the work involved and surely I wouldn't do it for the same price I charge now. I'm not doubting my capabilities just doubting if it's worth it.

The link you sent me in pm we should probably share with people, hope you don't mind. For a limited time TRS is selling Morimoto mini matchbox projectors that are even smaller than the Mori H1 projectors. Here they are below. I'm willing to retro them into someones housing if someone wants to try them. Similar beam slightly less intensity, I do not want them for my personal vehicle but will do them. Anyone want to try them out?
