Major success last night.... while enjoying a few PBR's my brother and i worked on my headlights. I got both of the bezels primed gray and i just have to sand one tiny spot and put on a very thin coat of primer and that should be done. I also nightshaded the saidemarkers. I am currently fighting my mind on rather i want to go any darker... the are 3 coats and i think they look pretty decent. Now my new question. How do i get all of the "goop" off the housings? Drunkie if you could chime in seeing as youve done this many times before? They will be getting silver paint tonight most likely and shuld be back together by the end of the week. Is there any way to run amber side emmiting leds under the bezel and connect them into the DRL's and have them work with the directional's.... once again probably another question for Drunkie? But anyone feel free to chime in

I wouldnt put them in the housing, if they go bad u have to tear it apart again, put it under the headlight

Just got the first light back together. I used clear RTV to seal. Hope this was the right choice. I am being really paranoid about rather i got the lens clean on the inside or not... its not easy when the outside isnt perfect.... Just wanted to say that although it was an interesting experience .... i will never ever do this again. Its one of those things you do and then just realize "hey it worked once.... lets just stick with that". Im gunna be doing the other one later today and then i will get some pics up. Also filed my taxes so the KYB struts and vogtland springs should be ordered soon
