Ok i was a little curious as to these new euro gauges i see...

Amazon.com: 97-03 Pontiac Grand Prix WHITE GLOW GAUGES: Home Improvement

I like them a lot but i was curious as to whether or not they would work in my car..

    first question,

The gauges are the same except for the engine temperature gauge, mine starts at 160 and go to 210, these start at 100 and go to 210 that wont be an issue?

2.) Are they hard to install (do they require needle removal and gauge calibration)?

    and about the LED lights,

I wanted to change out my interior lights with LED lights, can i just get the LED bulbs and pop them in, or do i need to do wiring or something of the sort?

All help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

i just put in a similar setup
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250759354562&viewitem= &sspagename=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT
they work and fit just fine w/o having to remove or recalibrate any of the needles. as far as the temerature, im sure that is just a typo as the "100" isnt to scale with the other two numbers on that guage. if you decide to go with this overlay, it was rather easy to install. i used my fog light switch as a source of power and ground (brown for power, black for ground). i am very pleased with my install. i'll have the carbon fiber bezel in it sometime in the next week.

194 LED bulbs will work, but you have to keep in mind the shape of the bulb so as to how the light spreads out, and the fact that every light in the car is WHITE and has a red film, so to change colors, you have to scrape the film off.

Well I am just interested in a brighter, cleaner light that the LEDs produce.

Yeah the temp gauge starts at 160. Easy damn install, and they do looks cool, but I got tired of them quick.

Just dont pull the needles off when you do it, you can move them around, just dont yank them off...

And you should be able to just use the LED bulbs as long as you dont want to change color

To the second poster, if you wire the gauges to get power from the fog light switch so it lights up when you turn on lights. My question is wouldn't the fog light swith lose power when you have the brights on.

one would think so, but i did a bit of plug and play with the switch plug before tapping into the wires. i just poked the ends of the gauge wires into the plug and turned EVERYTHING on and off a couple times in the end, it all worked out for me and im happy
