I had a pair of these:
XENON 97-03 GRAND PRIX HALO CHROME PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS - eBay (item 360335297242 end time Feb-09-11 18:46:59 PST)

Then i sold them to a friend because they didnt look the best on a white car and his was black with chrome rims so it worked.

But im using stock headlights currently and want to buy new projectors. What would look good on a white car thats somewhat reliable? Because with those ones above, the halos went out after a month, the "revolver" turn signal corner things died, they didnt fit correct, etc.

I see lots of people have these style:
97-03 GRAND PRIX BLK PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS+6K XENON HID - eBay (item 400191226855 end time Feb-03-11 21:52:14 PST)
So are these decent? i dont need anything top notch, just ones that work.

    Thanks!

they come with H1 halogen bulbs installed...you have to install the HID's...it says "no HID's" on them but ive never had any problems and neither have other members.
Sorry i missed your other question...they fit good. My driver side one if flush with the fender....my passenger side ones isnt but thats cuz it needs aimed better. I think if i had it aimed properly it wouldnt be a problem.....I also have weather stripping under mine...helped a ton with bounce.

Please don't recommend these to anyone. I've got them and on halogen bulbs they're TERRIBLE.....

Now if you're going to put FX-R's or Morimoto's in the black oem style like I did it's killer. Surely don't buy them for function because they have none.

well, realistically anyone that stays with halogens on these crappy headlights is already doing something wrong. im just voicing my opinion on how the projectors being sold are uglier than sin.

They're way worse than stock. My stock housings that were hazed to hell and back were twice as bright, swear on it!

    Bio,

Projectors are projectors, some have clear lenses some don't. They all function similar. Don't see how they're ugly unless you're talking about the shrouds people are using. I mean do you really think the stock bulb reflector is hot or what?

When I talk about projectors I'm not including that ebay crap, I'm talking about the real deal, FX-R, TSX (clear lense), Morimoto. Yeah ebay projectors get the job done but they don't even compare to those listed above.

I've had the driver's side done for a few months, now. Still haven't gotten the projector aligned for the passenger side, though...
