did u take the bottom plastic piece off?

Yeah i got that exact same style for my car for christmas. I didnt jack the car up at all but yes they are a complete ***** to put on. Had to remove a ton of stuff like the plastic piece but then in order to get that out i had to remove the hook/clip for the engine cover. (cant think of name)
So yea took me 2 hours. Got a little confused as to how the bottom ones get on but finally got it working and they look so amazing!
