was just looking at those, would 898 37.5w bulbs be too much for stock wiring?

I've read that HIDs can melt the stock fog housings? Any truth to this? I'd love to get some 3000K HIDs for my fogs but have been hesitant because of the melting rumor.

Weve heard stories of both. Some have had them melt, others have been fine.
