I've done a lot of mods etc and recently was chatting with Matt about things. Figured since a buddy brought out his camera and tripod to a party thing weekend, I'd have him snap a couple.

The pics I took of the puddle lights looked horrible.

If you happen to notice, yes on projectors and turn signal mirrors.

Here is the everything listed in first post thread with too many pics to post. BonnevillePRO.com • View topic - Planning for Regal

    Daytime

The main list 2000 GS with fold down rear seat and sunroof.

    Exterior:
Lucerne rims and Potenza REAS960PP tires
    Turn signals in mirrors
    Fully undercoated/POR15'd
Sequential tails (not sure if I like them yet)
    LED all lights
    Projector HID headlights
BMW E46 fogs with 9006 HID bulbs
    Puddle lights

    Mechanical:
GR2 struts with Vogtlands (will be doing AGX in spring)
F body brakes with R1 Concept rotors
HT Motorsports lateral arms, drag links and toe links
2008 rear calipers/knuckles (done for ebrake setup)
GTP exhaust (for duals) with 3" DP and Plog
1.9 HS rockers on L76 springs
    Gen V with 3.6" pulley
All the usual gaskets/tune up etc
    Aluminum oil pan
    Aluminum subframe
    Poly front mounts
    New motor mounts
GMPP sways with urethane center bushings and end links.
Built trans put in at 193,750 miles.

    Interior:
    LED everything
    Homelink mirror with compass
Touchscreen HU with backup camera, ipod, bluetooth, HD radio, steering wheel controls etc
Boston speakers/sub along with 5 channel amp.
    Wiring from KnuKonceptz
Sound deadening (including inside the doors etc) from SecondSkin
Added power outlets in console (Aurora/Intrigue)
Added heated seats (stock switches, used GP elements because they are larger than Regal ones)
    HUD (it's a requirement)

Viper remote starter/alarm with 1 mile range. Chose not to install the siren. System works off horn.

I've done the work for everything listed, including the "dealer only" Viper. 99% of the stuff on the car was done in the first two weeks I owned it. Had been planning and collecting for a while. It's my DD and I've enjoying the heck out of it. Planning ahead on a trans. The car has 174K on it at the moment and the trans is original, shifts great etc.

Bonnie had go fast parts, only issue was something in the trans kept breaking faster than I was goin. (usually ISS reluctors). Having two built tranmissions and not being able to really DD due to breakage reliability started to wear on me.

Motor is sitting in the corner like a bad kid.
S1X, S3 Heads, 1.8RR (yeah on top of the cam), Gen V, N*, EWP, WBS S3 IC, PRJ rails and wires, etc etc. Might part it out and be done with the high performance end. But taking off the LIM and dropping on a metal manifold and a turbo has it's draw.

Bonnie came from the factory with air in the rear suspension. Then I added drag bags to keep it from looking like a W body when mashing the pedal.

I need to find a way to bring up the Regal on demand.

Thanks guys.. it's the daily beater. $1400 purchase price and maybe another $3k in parts (mostly stereo) after that. Aiming to get 3-5 years of driving out of it. I figure that's a good investment.

Lovin the whole idea of this car!
Where are the pics of the sequential tails?
Any more info on how you went about the mirrors. Where did you get the turn signal led pods and how did you go about the puddle lights, like how are they secured and mounted. These sound like two more over the winter projects I can work on in the living room.

As I went through and did the stuff, it's all in that post I linked in the first post here. It's long though. All the parts though are in the first post of that link with pics and part numbers, usually where I got them too.

I didn't really get pics of the sequential tails, my camera isn't that good. Neither is my pic taking skills.

Turn signals in mirrors and puddle lights. Puddle lights come on with the interior circuit like all other cars. This happens at unlock etc. Only one problem with this.. in 2000 GM decided to stop putting the interior light in the door of the Regal. I pulled 98 door harnesses and removed the door light from it. Added a run up to the mirror and put it all into the factory connectors in the correct cavities, adding the turn signal input as well. Then on the other side I ran from the various wiring to the body side of the door connector and pinned them in. The puddle light is from Oznium, a buddy does a lot of testing etc for them and made the suggestion. Since I added the door lights, puddles and the turn signal wiring was relatively easy.

The turn signals were from a Caddy ..I think DTS
Pulled the plastic off, burned holes with a red hot leather punch in the heater in proper places and disrupted the element as little as possible. Glued, cut the backing and presto

I mention most of the wiring being easy, because I have the schematics, can read them with ease and at the same time..the car was stripped down to a shell for everything I did to it. I did nearly everything to this car in less than two weeks. It was an undertaking, and well worth it. Heck..my sub takes up no trunk room, neither does the amp. Overall I'm very pleased with how it came out.

Thanks for the directions on how to do this! I absolutely love love love your car! More pics more pics!
Could you get another set of mirror turn signals? I would like a pair for myself. I am however going to get on car-part and see if I can find any in my area to though.

There was a guy GTPsupercharged something on GMforum that was selling them. Hasn't been around in forever..but a buddy recently got a set from him. Dunno .. he didn't respond to my pm/email.

BTW..I tossed a how to in the how to section on it. More pics can be found in my PB account under "Regal Mods" and then they are categorized by mod...

    Heres'a few teasers though.
Ebrake is on caliper, not a dumb donut in the rear disc
