    My side view mirror will adjust left to right but the up and down does not work the motor runs but it seems like it is not connected to the mirror. anyone know how to take the mirror out to see whats wrong or if it can be fixed

    On the back of the mirror there are two extension pieces. They look like poles. When the motor runs then extend or retract to make it do what's needed. Sounds like one came unclipped. You need to click it back into place.

    thats what i was hoping for but im not sure exactly how i get it apart to fix it

    They just pull off. Our mirrors are simply pushed on. With a good amoutn of force..but pushed on. There's the two extenders and one center pivot point.

    I have a .pdf that shows how to remove the mirror glass and reinstall. Its for adding turn signal leds behind the mirror, but the steps are the same none the less.

    If you would like it, give me an email addy and I'll get it to you. This PDF has pictures of the steps as well for illustration and is very detailed. Starts with removing the door panel to putting it back on.
