chrome halos on a SE? o boy...

The cheapest mod you can do on any car is a Debadge - as in remove the little Grand Prix badges on the back and side of the vehicle. Make sure do to it while washing the car, so you dont have marks from the old ones.
2001 GT Special Edition - 208k miles, junkyard status. Part out in progress.
    2015 Mazda Mazda3 S Touring - 39000 miles, bone stock.

@ andrew, u mean like the cold air intake? i was thinking about that, does it have any effect on the car? like a lot of people tell me that it doesnt really do much to boost the mpg or horsepower like they claims to

open cone is just a cold air intake cone filter put directly to throttle body its the cheapest possible intake to do it will improve air flow some but you wont notice anything really drastic by any means

Well, it entirely depends on the engine, as to the gains you will see. On my 2000 GT I put a 9" cone filter on, and it sounded like a vacuum cleaner, but I did have a little more oomff, and slightly better gas mileage. Now on my GTP, going with the same cone filter, upped my gas mileage quite a bit.

i like "oomff" lol but theres no negative drawbacks to it right? i mean other than the vacuum sound which might be not so bad, and possibly fixable

Not really fixable, since its the sound of the air being sucked into the engine. No drawbacks at all, cept having to bang the filter out once in a while if you live on/near dirt roads. Theres no need for that big of a cone on a GT, but it's what I had, so why not?

lol well i think i may be able to get away with a smaller cone so that might fix the noise factor but good i'll consider putting one in soon since theres no significant drawbacks to it

What the hell is this vacuum crap. Suck it up and turn up the radio if you want to hear the 3800 Hoover.

No no, its not even audible inside the car, only when you're standing around the fender.
