Three different applications of filler/sanding with 80grit and a light coat of high build primer later.

Nice work. I wish I had gone into body work/painting instead of being a tech, the end results of your work are much more rewarding.
did you prime over 80 grit or did you use finer sandpaper?
Did you use a spraycan primer?
I used some high build primer on there out of a spray can just to cover the filler for the time being. I still have to refine my sand scratches and reprime for preperation of the surfacer that I will be using.
That makes the front end look very gto-ish.

That lower fascia area would look better if it was matching the grill in color... black
Nice work none the less, as long as you like it that is all that matters
What did you use for filler that will expand/contract with the plastic during seasonal temp changes? I did some rear bumper mods, but I'm getting a little bit of cracking.
I glued the filler plate in using structural adheasive and the two screws to hold it in place for good so I can smooth my front bumper out. I used a Lord Fusor glue. Then I used some "Shark Bite" branded filler to smooth everthing out. Then on top of that I used some high build primer to dial the rest of the imperfections in to a very minimal. I did this four times and everytime I used guide coat and block sanded.
Oh yeah thats the plan I haven't finished those two parts. I just got those parts in last night and didn't have them to paint with me at the time. My plan for the upper grille is to paint the outter most of the grille red and leaving the interior ,the mesh part, gloss black. The lower grille part I am also painting black to bring everything together.
Then at some point early next year I am putting in custom black headlights retrofitted with dual projectors and a custom black/red shroud to further bring everything together.
The headlights arrived this evening in the mail. Wetsanding and a good compound/polish will have these looking much better. Not bad for $40. This will help pull everything together. Now to decided if I am going to stick with the projectors or switch to the ones I really want. So that I can finish my projector set up in these headlights.
