Nice work. I wish I had gone into body work/painting instead of being a tech, the end results of your work are much more rewarding.
did you prime over 80 grit or did you use finer sandpaper?
Did you use a spraycan primer?
I used some high build primer on there out of a spray can just to cover the filler for the time being. I still have to refine my sand scratches and reprime for preperation of the surfacer that I will be using.
That makes the front end look very gto-ish.

What did you use for filler that will expand/contract with the plastic during seasonal temp changes? I did some rear bumper mods, but I'm getting a little bit of cracking.
I glued the filler plate in using structural adheasive and the two screws to hold it in place for good so I can smooth my front bumper out. I used a Lord Fusor glue. Then I used some "Shark Bite" branded filler to smooth everthing out. Then on top of that I used some high build primer to dial the rest of the imperfections in to a very minimal. I did this four times and everytime I used guide coat and block sanded.Quote:

The headlights arrived this evening in the mail. Wetsanding and a good compound/polish will have these looking much better. Not bad for $40. This will help pull everything together. Now to decided if I am going to stick with the projectors or switch to the ones I really want. So that I can finish my projector set up in these headlights.
