Since my GTP is down the dealership has been lending me a 2002 Grand Am GT "Ram Air" (3400s are gutless next to a L67, ) and Ive really gotten to likeing the lack of grills in the bumper for the ram air inlets.

Has anyone ever tried this kind of design on a GP? I think it might look good if you could make it smooth like the GAs are... just a thought

for reference this is what im looking for

    nice, smooth, clean...

grill inserts on the Silvermist GPs dont look that good to me, needs a contrast but I hate having the factory black grills, so IF we could delete them and make it look good id be happy

Looks good but I don't think the GP's look that good without grilles. I'd go with body colored GPO's or something.

ONLY with GPOs. I've photoshopped it, and the grill-less look is awful.
The GA has a thinner grill so it pulls it off. Here's the deal, GA GT's use the grill has the ram air, ours are just grills. Look at a GA SE and you'll notice it has grills and they're a LOT larger.

BUT if you slapped some GPOs, I'd look fine grill-less, or with something behind it so it looks grill-less.
