So I recently noticed some rust on my car and someone I think hit my car and shaved off some of the paint, not too noticeable but I want to get it painted. So my question is what are the prices for just like spot paintjobs? Like just certain areas, not the whole car.

It varies from place to place and city to city, call around and get quotes and opinions of who does a good job. Cheap is normally not good with paint jobs.

X2. Check around!!! Cheaper is NOT always better. It sucks when you pay good money for service and get it back, then you realize you could have done way better yourself...

I'd try and get rid of the rust asap. It increases faster than you ever expect it to.

I have a couple rust spots on my hood from stones. Is there some sort of "sealer" that I can put on to stop if from getting worse??....until I can get it painted.

yeah I'm gonna have to actually second that question. Oh and now it's gonna be a lot more than just a paint job due to my GP's unfortunate meeting with a guard rail today...
