I am guilty of thinking that also. I own a 2006 GXP and a 2005 GT. My g/f has a 2006 (base model) which i thought was considered an SE (never knew it was Special edition). Ther are some vehicals that the base is called SE. I was just informed that i was wrong yasterday.

I have also totally debadged my GT. Mainly cause it had GXP door emblems and the V8 on the trunk. Was done by former owner. Now all shiny clean. I am leaving the GXP alone cause i may be trading it in on a new truck

The 04+ are just Base, GT, GTP, and GXP. There is no Standard Edition. BUT BUT BUT some of them came with an SE appearance package in 2006 I believe. Rear looks like this, notice the fake diffuser:

With that said, I saw a white one today.

    The diffuser is race.

Even if the underbody of the car doesnt direct airflow to it at all.

Ya, that is what i thought also. I was quickly corrected though. I basicly think it is a GT(non supercharged) with a little bit of apperance differences. I do like the black SE wheels. Wish i could find a set.
I wish they made the Comp G package other than 04 & 05. that's the car i want, just cant find one with low enough miles to justify the same price i paid for my GXP 2 years ago.

Yep people who pay more are not the smartest. But only the original buyer paid more(we are assuming). On the used market they price the same as any other GT/GTP.

LOL I added an arrow head from the trunk of a G5 to the trunk of mine.

Well actually paying more does make sense because they have unique body parts that would be more difficult to find, particularly the 2006 SE and the 2003 Limited.

ah, love the front bumper. I just had a ghost arrowhead. I would recommend polishing out your exhaust tips. They looks GREAT polished. Unfortunately, photobucket screwed up the only picture I had of the tips like that.
