I got it in my head that my side mirrors need to be black and I'm wondering if good ole krylon fusion would work on 'em or if I need real body paint.

what steps are you going to do, as in prep and stuff?

i would do sand, primer, sand, primer, wet sand, paint, wet sand, paint, clear, clear.

Just saw this post, a few days late, before you do any sanding, use a wax and grease remover! But do not buy the cheap stuff from Wally world.

I wouldn't use spray paint on mirrors, especially when a body shop could do the mirrors in black for you dirt cheap. But thats just my opinion.

Could try and see if anyone is parting out a black car and snag the mirrors off of that.

if you go to autozone they have paint for plastic. it comes in a spray can and they have a selection of colors and there is clear coat already in it. it worked out really good i used it on my car to paint the mirrors red.
