WOW!!!! I am at a loss for words! After posting my new color scheme and getting many negative comments about my car not being Turboed I got pretty upset. I went back to the place I bought it and demanded some answers. OF COUSRE they lied!!! GRRRR!!!! I didn't mean to be such a
biT$% on my last thread but that's pretty shatty! I NEVER want to make my car into something its not, I hate that! Soooo....I need to get a new front plate now! Any suggestions on what I could make it say??? I still want the black and blue...personally I really like it =) I just want my front plate to stand out, I really like the reflective blue. I would TRULY appreciate any ideas on a new front plate!

The biggest thing is being emabrrased! I was proud to have that plate and then to find out it was fake! I owned a 2003 Durango R/T before this car. I saw so many people posing theirs as R/T's it was so irreating. I don't want to "pose" as anything I'm not. I just wanted something different for the front plate. Which is why I'm taking opinions on a new one??? =(

well like i said, either just peel it off, or if you wanna keep it for maybe when you do go turboed, which would be awesome of you, then do that. otherwise id peel it off and toss it and maybe but a "grand" in the middle right under pontiac and a "prix" right under that although that might be too much and look like a upside down pyramid. but its unique! other than that maybe just a "gt" in the middle i dont know of anyone doing that. other than that idk what you should do, besides maybe airbrush something on to it like your name or whatever, a cool design, some blue flames, idk, whatever floats your boat

Pull the vinyl off and just get the fill ins for the letters.

Well like many said...I took off the "GT" emblem from the trunk. To make everyone "guess" persay, soooo do I want to add a GT to the front plate? Something unique but not fake would be cool!

No worries, and i think a blank plate would suit it best, as to keep with a de-badged car.

Tinted tails on the list... would love a new hood, but right now $$$$ is the issue. I want new wheels more than anything!!!

im putting my new hood on tomorrow! so excited! as far as im concerned, wheels are way too pricey and just arent worth the money. i got polished 5 spokes, they're shiney and in good condition so im happy with them. next for visual mods are grilles, projector halo headlights, halo fogs, and possibly tint. thats really it. id like to lower but its just way too much. oh and painted calipers and some engine bay work thats about it.

look on craigslist for hoods, they are rare to find but usually pretty cheap, ive seen a sd hood for 300 on there before. also just check out the for sale section theres usually sd hoods and wings up there from time to time.

So you bought a car that was "turbo'd" but it's not?

I have an idea. Instead of changing your stickers, just turbo it. Problem solved.

i dont think id blame the mechanic. if ifollow correctly you brought the car to them to have it checked out before you bought it. if you just glance and look over a car looking for comon things like leaks, rust, condition of certain things, etc.. and notice the filler plate saying turbo and just assumeing it has one. granted, if i saw that i would think dang! this is turboed?!?!?! and then id look to see if it actually was not matter how little time i had. i think its an easy mistake to make if it had turbo vinyl badging
