Hey everyone I've got some updated pics of my GP. I finished the work on the left rear quarter panel. I was able to wash and wax my car before I took the pics this afternoon by the lake front. Let me know what you think. Btw there is an interior shot with the DIC showing 19.3 MPG , this was all city driving with the air cranked all the way anyways enjoy!!!

All the above is on my list of things to do. I will have the front bumper cover and side skirts painted by the end of summer. Rims are most likely in the spring of 2011 and exhaust probably by fall this year. (I'm putting an offer in on a house though this week so I'll be busy with house stuff) so the car will get stuff done to it over time.

Clean car, i like the deck !
It was a 3100 body style converted to 3800 right? (which explains the rim, exhaust and new sides/front bumper)
Is that the girlfriend likes .. Then you have the Gp

boost will be in the near future I have an L67 sitting in the garage which I'm using for the top end. I just figured I'd throw the IWHINE up instead of my license number ha. My car is originally a 97 SE with the 3800 option. I've always personally thought the GT's and GTP's were meaner looking so thats why I went this route. The rims that are on my car now are the original aluminum (silver alloy) that are found on most GP's... I would have left them alone but the rims were flaking really bad so I painted them last summer. For the time being I'll repaint them again this year and hopefully if things go right I'll have new rims for next spring/summer.

prob be easier just getting a HD trans and swap L67 and trans in one shot. u have the weakest tranny there is for GP's. top swapped with that trans is gonna be failure waiting to happen. awesome sleeper though.

I forgot to mention that I do have the trans but it needs some work. I'm going to send it to a trans shop here in town that I trust. There was something wrong with it shifting IIRC. All this will happen in due time though. Maybe once I get this house I can put the GP away in the garage and work on it slowly.
