i want a black headliner in my car (no sun roof) and i was wondering how well would that black fabric spray paint is? another option is to do a black sued. what do you think, i'm on a budget. And what are some tips to remove the headliner.

honestly i would leave the headliner whatever color it is until you have saved up enough money to do it right... this is just one of those areas you prly dont want to kind of do right

I would'nt paint it. 1) you'll have paint fumes and overspray inside your car. 2) Almost impossible to get an even application, if you do this, take a picture afterwards and look at the streaks.

An upholstery shop will charge from $125 to $200 to install you a new headliner including material.

I'm not sure if there is any information on here about removing/installing headliners on here, but certainly easier without the moonroof and the material should be reletively inexpensive.

Good luck and let us know how it goes!

BTW, I need to fix my sunshade on my roof, stuck open, and the edge over the drivers visor is loose.

I actually just got some black suede to do the same thing. I already did the door inserts on my 04 and am working on the pillars now.

Keep us updated and post pics of the headliner when you are done. I would like to hear how you did it, what glue you use and if you have any tips.

    Good luck.
